I also have ADHD. As a result, I have three things I can do with my almost boundless energy: 1.) Try to ignore it, and watch myself self-destruct in a ball of fiery tension, 2.) Use it to worry about things over which I have no control, or, 3.) Use it as an outlet for creative energy. I’ve chosen to use it for Good instead of Evil (that’s pronounced EE ville).
Anyway, I want to use this post to introduce you to some new blogs, and others that I’ll be phasing out.
First of all is THIS Blog – “Just Me” – I list this first because I will be reblogging the hell out of this post on my other blogs. This is the only blog on which I will try to post “behind the scenes” stuff — that is, longer bits that explain more of the process and thinking behind the work, as well as longer excerpts than a normal blog would allow. Others are my portfolio. This will be more about the work. Whether it evolves more as a writers’ or photographers’ place depends solely on who visits and what people respond to.
Next, My love, Maria Phillips and I created a new photography blog called “The Red and the Blue.” I’ll let her post about the meaning of the name at some point, as she’s much more articulate than I (and in many more languages). I can’t summarize the blog better than she did:
Beginning with my recent visits to London and the USA the new blog aims to showcase mine and Bill’s passion for street photography amongst other subjects as seen jointly through our respective camera lenses. I hope you take the time to stop by and visit, and join us on our adventures.
In any case, it is my first real collaboration with anyone, and I’m excited to see how it progresses. I hope we’ll have some joint (different perspectives) posts soon.
My other main blogs remain as before, with my writing blog “This Blog Intentionally Blank“ being focused on book excerpts, short stories and poetry, as well as how-to’s on writing and grammar. My main photography blog is “Today on Earth” dedicated to my normal junk. It’s my photography portfolio.
I’ve had a few other special-purpose blogs (Life Coaching, Book Promotion), but I’ll be phasing those out. I hope you check out the new blogs, and thanks for stopping by.
