As an introduction to our new Watchful Wednesday series, we are presenting a couple of short videos about photography. The first is a slideshow of some of Vivian Maier’s work. If you’re a regular here, then you should already know Ms. Maier, her work, and her unique story. Instead of rehashing that, let’s take two-and-a-half minutes to look at some of her work.
The second film details the work of lesser-known shooter, Andre Wagner, from Omaha, Nebraska. Rather than focus on the work, this piece focuses on the process, giving those of you who are perhaps toying with the idea of street photography a view of what it looks like. In future months, M and I may be putting together our own films of street shoots in D.C., but for now, here’s Andre.
Cool! Very interesting and great insight into a couple of photographers I didn´t know of. Wow, lots of great new stuff on your site, great work as always Bill..cheers, some nice inspiration for when I hit the streets later this afternoon. Peter
